Elvis Under Glass

home

Salome is hostess of a small night club where the risen Elvis is slated to perform. Not coming soon to a theater near you, but a great deal of work was put into it with not only the writing of the play but the lyrics and music. Was a hell of a lot of fun. It was a musical with a cafeteria table for a stage, and the performers were waiters and waitresses conscripted for service by the maniacal hostess while all waited for Elvis to leave the dressing room. The performers periodically interacted with a Las Vegas style dancing girl goddess on a silver screen behind them. And it was never staged. It never made it to rehearsal.
