What I think of when I see pictures of Hanford's children at the Hanford Declassified Project is that the story of Fat Man, the bomb which dropped on Nagasaki, is not just only about Japan. Fat Man was dropped on the world. Its effects are still felt everywhere. The Columbia River is threatened by its legacy of radiation pollution.
